GED-i Online is not an independent study program (that means you are NOT on your own when studying) – it is a teacher-supported instructional tool. You have a teacher just like you do in a regular classroom, and your teacher provides support and instruction online every step of the way. The learning process is guided as you navigate through lessons and tests in the following six subject areas at your own pace, as determined by your instructor, the GED-i pre-surveys, and you:
- Language Arts-Reading
- Language Arts-Writing
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- Test Taking Skills
The GED-i Online program provides instant scoring of most student lessons. An Adult Education instructor will grade additional assignments, communicate instructions, and supply feedback to the online learner.
The Requirements section of your online GED-i Orientation covers steps for enrollment, Internet and computer skills needed, and connecting with a local GED provider. Click on the arrow below to move forward and find out more about each of these things.
